Reclaim.ai: AI calendar defender
Reclaim takes a specific position: your calendar is the source of truth for what you work on, and AI should help you defend and optimize it. The product auto-schedules your tasks, habits, and meetings into the best available time slots, protects focus blocks from meeting encroachment, and reschedules dynamically when conflicts emerge.
The 2025 product expansion brought Smart Meetings (AI-suggested meeting times based on attendee patterns), Team Calendars (shared scheduling intelligence across teams), and Outlook support (finally β this was a top feature request for years). The product remains Google Calendar-strongest but is no longer Google-only.
What Reclaim does best
Auto-scheduling tasks. Add a task with a duration and deadline; Reclaim finds the optimal time slot and books it on your calendar as a holdable event. As your calendar shifts, the task moves dynamically. This is the platform's single highest-value feature.
Focus time defense. Reclaim auto-blocks focus time blocks (e.g. "4 hours of focus per day") and dynamically defends them β if someone tries to book over a focus block, Reclaim suggests an alternative time. Genuinely effective for protecting deep work.
Habit tracking. Schedule recurring habits (e.g. "30 min reading per day", "1 hour exercise 3x per week") and Reclaim finds time for them, adapting to your actual schedule. More sustainable than rigid time-blocking.
Where Reclaim falls short
Outlook support is newer and less mature than Google Calendar support. iCloud Calendar is not supported.
The learning curve is real. Reclaim works best after 2-3 weeks of using it daily β the AI learns your patterns and the auto-scheduling becomes more accurate. New users sometimes give up before the value materializes.
Team Calendars are useful for small teams but lack the depth of dedicated team scheduling tools (Calendly, Reclaim itself for teams).
Pricing
Lite (free): basic auto-scheduling, 1 calendar. Starter at $10/month: more scheduling features, habits, focus time. Business at $15/month: team features, smart meetings. Enterprise (custom): SSO, priority support.
Integrations
Google Calendar (deepest), Outlook (newer), Slack (status sync), Zoom, Google Meet, Asana, Todoist, Jira, ClickUp, Linear, Trello, Notion. The Slack status sync is genuinely useful β Reclaim updates your Slack to "in focus" or "in meeting" automatically.
Versus alternatives
Versus Motion: Motion is more aggressive about full-day planning; Reclaim is more focused on calendar defense and habit building. Versus Calendly: Calendly is for booking meetings with external people; Reclaim is for organizing your own time. Many people use both.
